ARGH! I can't stop doing these, they're way too much fun. More Superhero Disney princesses inspired by the cosplay group. Check them out, they're really cool. This time, we have Belle, Jasmine, and Nala.

Belle seems like the kind of girl who starts out as a quiet, bookworm turned superhero. I'm not sure what the book-staff does, but it looks cool. I can't really pick what powers I think Belle should have, but maybe something with mind reading. Like, being able to look inside somebody and read their thoughts. (Eh? Eh?) I also think it would be cool if the Beast was also a superhero and the two teamed up on a regular basis. (Werewolf kinda deal for the Beast, perhaps? It's kinda like brawn meets brain.)

Jasmine looks like the kind of chick that could beat you up and look good doing it. I kind of imagined a very "Batman Begins" kind of origin. She grew up in an underground league of assassins. She had to kill a target and couldn't do it. Her compassion angered the league and she ran away before they could dispose of her. It kind of mirrors the whole "I don't wanna be a princess if I can't have freedom over my life!" but replacing princess with assassin. I think it could work.

Whoever cosplayed as Nala was FIERCE. I've always loved Nala and Lion King and her costume was really cool. Obviously, Nala would have animal-powers like super strength, ability to communicate with animals, speed, night vision, super hearing, etc. What would be cool is if she was looking for a childhood friend of hers who went missing years ago after his father's death (maybe this kid's name was, I dunno, Simba or something...) and somehow found out that he was alive and out there in the city. It's a mystery! Where is he? Why doesn't he want to be found? And what does this have to do with his insane, scarred uncle? It would make for a damn good comic book, I tell you.
