Superhero Tiana

Superhero Tiana based on the Superhero Disney Princess cosplay group. I did not design her, I just drew the picture and wrote the backstory. Look up the cosplay group because they're really cool and Deviant Art is buggy and will not let me post links.

Tiana’s life dream ever since her father died was to own her own restaurant. As a result, she dedicated most of her time to work, studies, and making her dream a reality. Her only close friend was Lottie, a outspoken woman and the daughter of one of the city’s most influential and wealthy men. Lottie understood Tiana’s ambitions and supported her, despite most of Tiana’s friends being put off by Tiana’s dedication.

After an opportunity to start her dream restaurant fell to pieces, Tiana had a strange encounter with a mysterious man named Dr. Facilier and woke up with strange, plant and animal controlling powers. At first, she meant to ignore her new discovering, but one day, she saw a man in trouble and decided to save him. His name was Naveen, a foreign ambassador's son. Unfortunately, Naveen saw Tiana’s face, but instead of telling others about her, he made her an offer. For a while now, organizations had been targeting Naveen with attacks because of his family’s influence. He asked Tiana to protect him, and in return he would fund her restaurant. Tiana agreed, and found herself in an entirely new type of trouble.

It didn’t take long for Lottie to notice Tiana’s new secret and she became thrilled to help. (By, ahem, making the costume of course.) The two of them became Tiana’s allies, and soon Tiana wasn’t just helping Naveen: she was becoming a full-fledged superhero. Along the way, her allies grew to a musician named Louis, a love-sick young man named Ray, and a batty psychic woman named Mama Odie. But Dr. Facilier wants to stop Tiana from saving Naveen. He and Naveen’s butler, Lawrence, begin working to destroy Naveen and Tiana’s inner world and the two have to work together to keep everything from falling apart.
